PRIVACY POLICY
A clear place
for the details.
How your scenes, settings and exported pictures are handled.
Scope and contact
This policy covers Morrowstage and its companion information website. For app support or privacy questions, contact theresaswayforward@gmail.com. The contact identity supplied for this app is THERESA'S WAY FORWARD FIRST-GENERATION SCHOLARS FOUNDATION.

What you enter
You can enter scene names and captions. Morrowstage uses that text to label your work and, when you choose, to include a caption in an exported picture. You do not need to provide a real name or other personal details to create a scene.

Your creative choices
The app records the background and pieces you select, their positions, sizes, angles, order and visibility. These choices let it reopen your editable scenes. Artwork is bundled with the app; creating a scene does not send a prompt to an image-generation service.

Where drafts are kept
Editable scenes are stored in a private file inside the app's storage on your device. The app writes a complete saved state after an edit is committed. If a write fails, it reports the problem instead of reporting that the change was saved.

App settings
Morrowstage keeps your reduced-motion preference and the scene or view to return to with your saved work. It also respects a system reduced-motion signal when one is available. These settings are not used for advertising or profiling.

Pictures you export
When you export a PNG or an editable JSON backup, Android asks you to choose where to save it. The destination may be local storage or a document provider you select. A backup contains scene names, captions, settings and piece placements, so share it only when you intend to share that information. Exported pictures can remain outside Morrowstage after you remove a scene, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.

Device access
This version does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location or entire photo library. Picture and backup export, and backup restore, use Android's document picker for the file you choose. The app does not include the Android Internet permission.

Accounts and connectivity
The app's creative tools and artwork work without a login or a network connection. There is no app account, cloud scene sync or remote scene database. Opening a mail app for support or selecting an online document provider may use a connection outside Morrowstage.

App services and SDKs
This version does not contain an advertising, analytics, billing or crash-reporting SDK. Morrowstage does not transmit scene content or device identifiers to a developer-operated server. Device manufacturers and operating-system services may process information independently of this app.

The companion website
Visiting a hosted copy of this website makes a normal request to the web host. A host may process an IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect the site. The hosting provider and its operational settings are chosen by the publisher when the site is deployed; the supplied static site package does not itself run a server.

Website controls and storage
The supplied website does not contain analytics, advertising scripts, embedded social widgets or third-party fonts. Its scene demonstration uses temporary page state and does not save a personal scene collection in the browser. Browser and hosting caches may retain copies of website files.

How long work remains
Saved and archived scenes remain in the app's private storage until you remove them, clear the app's data through Android settings or uninstall it. Archive is a reversible way to put work aside; it is not deletion. Undo and Redo history is kept only during the current app session.

Removing your work
You can remove a piece from a scene or archive a scene and restore it later. To remove all app data, use Android's app-storage controls or uninstall Morrowstage. Those actions do not remove pictures already exported to other locations. Delete those files using the app or provider that manages their destination.

Backup and device transfer
Scene data is written to Android's no-backup storage area. The app also disables Android backup and excludes app storage from its declared cloud-backup and device-transfer rules. You can save an editable backup and restore it through the document picker. Restore adds scenes whose IDs are not already present and keeps existing scenes unchanged. Manufacturer transfer tools and device-level backups can behave differently, so this policy does not promise control over every operating-system or third-party backup.

Protection and limitations
The app relies on Android's application storage isolation and your device's security. It does not provide an additional scene password or its own encryption service. Anyone who can access your unlocked device may be able to open the app or view exported pictures. No storage system can guarantee against loss or unauthorized access.

Audience and children
Morrowstage is a creative composition tool intended for a general audience with an interest in visual making. It does not ask for age, student records or school information, and it does not include a public profile or social feed. If you contact support, avoid sending unnecessary personal information about yourself or a child.

Policy updates and support
This policy applies to version 1.0.0 and is effective 14 September 2026. Material changes to data handling should be reflected in an updated policy and app listing before a changed version is distributed. Contact theresaswayforward@gmail.com with questions, describing the app version and the issue without including private scene content unless you choose to share it.
